SP Fans!!
If you’ve ever played at our local courts, you probably know Shawn Paul Pickleball – the guy with the big smile and encouraging words.
Shawn has been a true champion of Pickleball, whether he’s welcoming new players, organizing games, or just bringing great energy to everything he does. He’s always been there for all of us. Now it’s our turn to be there for him.
In February, Shawn will be undergoing knee surgery to repair ongoing issues that have made everyday life – and especially Pickleball – increasingly painful. The recovery will take him off the court and out of work for several weeks. Between surgery costs, physical therapy, and everyday expenses while he’s unable to work, Shawn is facing a tough financial match.
That’s why we’re asking the Pickleball community to help Shawn cover his medical expenses and keep his bills from piling up while he focuses on healing and getting back to doing what he loves. No donation is too small – every little bit helps move the score in his favor.
If you’ve ever enjoyed a game with Shawn, laughed with him between points, or benefited from his kindness and coaching, please consider contributing. Think of it as the ultimate assist!
Thank you all for your support, your generosity, and for helping Shawn get back to the court where he belongs.
And remember just because you can win, doesn’t always mean that you should. Play accordingly. Hope you have a great day - see you on the courts!
