Help Shawn fight the good fight
This 37 year old young lady is the mother of two of my teenagers. She’s fighting what I can only imagine feels like an insurmountable battle. Cancer beats you down, flips your world and punches you in the mouth when you try to stand back up. I’ve given to, but have always had mixed emotions about go fund me situations. However when it touches the lives of the people who mean the most to you ( Doc & Jersi ), WOW how that changes. I might be shooting for what seems like the moon but Shawn & her significant other Bobby could use anything you can give but would never ask themselves I guarantee you… a prayer, good vibes or even a dollar or two. I HOPE my friends , family, former teammates, folks that can relate or Awesome Edward Jones colleagues can assist with just that! Our Lord works in Amazing ways and we don’t always understand the reasoning but with unbreakable faith we can let him carry us. God Bless all of you and SHAWN keep fighting !

“This was me on April 22nd after a surgery that was to tell us if the tumor they found on Aptil 17th was cancerous. They said we wouldn't know results for 5 days. I was pretty loopy on the goofy juice and asked Bobby to take my picture. What I didn't know was that the Dr had already been in to see Bobby Hill while I was in recovery. She confirmed it was 100% cancer. He totally composed himself while I didn't know those results and wanted to tell jokes and get my picture taken.
So, this is my post. To let world know that it's my turn to be the patient. Stage 3b = cancerous tumor, spread to lymph nodes. I started chemo and radiation this week and don't have a lick of energy. I'll be getting radiation 5 days a week for 6 weeks and chemo once a week for 6 weeks.
Please pray for comfort and strength. I've got an amazing army behind me to hopefully get me through this. Hoping to have the energy to push through Doc's open house next weekend.
My advice is to take the trip, buy the shoes and go to the concert.”
