Help Shawn Farrell Get Back on the Road

Shawn Farrell is the kind of person who always puts others first. As a dedicated past volunteer firefighter with Ottawa Civil Defense Fire Rescue and currently a volunteer with LaSalle County Emergency Management, he bravely responds to emergencies, putting his own safety on the line to protect our community. Beyond his service as a first responder, Shawn is a devoted friend and family member, always ready to offer a helping hand, a listening ear, or whatever support is needed, without hesitation. He's the person you call when you're in a bind, and he's always there. Now, Shawn is facing a personal challenge. On his way home last night from his job a deer ran out and Shawn totaled his only means of transportation. He had liability insurance only so unfortunately will likely get nothing for the vehicle. Shawn desperately needs money for a used car or for repairs to keep his job.

It's our turn to show Shawn the same generosity and support he has always shown us. We're asking for your help to ease his burden during this difficult time.
