As some of you may have heard I was recently diagnosed with stage 3 testicular cancer. The news came very suddenly as we just learned about this July 6th. Since learning of the diagnoses I have had two surgeries and have started an aggressive coarse of chemotherapy.
Here is a little background on me: I am a 27 year old father of a beautiful little girl. I served active duty in the Air Force for 8 years and am currently in the Air National Guard. I also work for the DNR. I had begun having a strange pain in my back that wasn't my usual back pain. When I had a CT scan they discovered a large mass in my abdomen. Several tests later they discovered I have testicular cancer that has mestastisized into my abdomen and lungs. This is a very aggressive form of cancer and the same type that Lance Armstrong had.
Due to my diagnoses I am not able to work while I undergo treatments. This has created a large financial burden that my family and I were not expecting. As you know medical costs and other bills add up quickly so any donations during this difficult time would be greatly appreciated. If you are not able to donate we would love it if you would please share to help ease the financial uncertainty that we face.
All proceeds would be used for medical expenses and bills during current and future treatments.
Thank you everyone for your continued prayers, love, and support.
