Hi, I’m Shawn Darling—artist, filmmaker, musician, creature builder, and the founder of Red Specter Studios and Loreweaver Games.

For years, I’ve poured my heart into crafting worlds through masks, puppets, animation, music, props, characters, and stories. I’ve built everything from D&D-style figures to custom VFX for films, from original soundtracks to mechanical creatures that feel alive. My world is fantasy—but my tools are real, and right now, many of them are broken, worn out, or missing entirely.

Not just literally fixing my 3D printers and sculpting tools… but reclaiming the full creative space I’ve spent a lifetime shaping—so I can finish what I’ve started, and finally bring the full vision of my work to life.
