Help Shawn & Belinda

Unfortunately Shawn has recently been hospitalised with brain cancer one has been successfully removed but there is still another one to be removed if they can.

With Shawn in hospital and bell not working so she can be there to help and support Shawn it has become very stressful with the cost of everyday bills aswell as rent and her paying extra for accommodation to stay in brisbane to be closer to Shawn.

Bell & Shawn are always happy to help out and do what they can for the people around them and hopefully we can do the same for them.

We have set up a gofundme page to try help them with this, to show support and make this hard time for them that little bit easier any donation is very much appreciated.

For those you who know Shawn, you know what his character is like. Smart, cheeky with a quick wit, he loves doing his job and being a Civiledge Trainer & Assessor.

Unfortunately on Sunday the 25th Shawn wasn’t feeling the best and bell took him off to Hospital..After running a few tests and scans they were told that night Shawn has Brain Cancer, two visitors (tumours) that are very much unwanted.. Shawn was then transferred to PA where he has an excellent Neuro Team, and the nursing staff are wonderful..

Scans and testing are still happening and at this point they had one surgery last Thursday.

and the other surgery is yet to be confirmed

As Shawn would he has named his visitors - Frank being the one at the back of his head, he will be evacuated, Frank is the one playing with Shawn’s Peripheral vision on the left side, the one at the front Karen is towards the front temple lobe and deeper in the Brain, after surgery, treatment for the following months.

they have had so many reach out to them, Shawn is staying very positive, determined and motivated to beat this, he has a good stretch of road ahead of him but I am sure with everyone’s love, prayers and thoughts they will get over this speed bump.
