My name is Shawn, and for over two decades, I worked as a chef to support my two children as a single dad. About ten years ago, I had to undergo back surgery, which has limited the kind of work I can do ever since. Recently, the company I worked for was bought out, and my position was eliminated. Now, I find myself facing the most difficult time of my life.
