As you all know, Shawn is a caring, fun, passionate guy who goes to lengths to help others. Now, let's help him.

 

We are saddened to have to tell you that on Monday 11/8, Shawn was diagnosed with advanced testicular cancer. Shawn is only 30 years old; he's active and healthy...so this was obviously a huge shock to him and everyone else. After experiencing some pain and discomfort, Shawn visited the ER only to learn of this very scary news.

 

Shawn will be having surgery this Friday, 11/19 and follow-up scans after the surgery will dictate what the next steps are. He's not sure if he'll have to go through radiation or chemotherapy so please send him prayers that they get everything when they do his surgery this week.

 

Shawn is down in Valdosta with his family (this is also where he is receiving treatment) so he is surrounded by loved ones. He is in good spirits, hopeful and staying positive (of course he is). Unfortunately though, he will be unable to return to work for some time.

Please consider making a donation so that while Shawn is going through this very difficult time, he does not have to worry about how he is going to pay his bills and the upcoming medical expenses he'll have.
