UPDATE FROM KATH (SHAWN AND VINNYS MOM)

1st off.. I'm so grateful for all the donations already made. They helped me make sure Elijah Shaqui had a beautiful service & that meant EVERYTHING to me & my family. Anyone who knows me knows it's killing me to do this.. I'm so used to working as many hours as my job would let me.. no rental assistance.. I pay fully rent & bills by working my ass off to provide for my family but I can't right now. Shawn is in rehab working on the effects of his traumatic brain injury. He's confused & scared. He doesn't know about his brother yet because he mentally can't handle it. He keeps telling us he almost died & is very emotional & refusing to eat. He needs me more than ever right now and it's breaking my heart even more than it's already been broken. I really don't know what else to do.. Every little bit helps... Thanks in advance.

UPDATE- Thank you to everyone who has shared and donated.  As most of you know Shawn is still currently in the hospital. He's fighting and getting stronger every day. With that being said, Kath (his Mom) has been by his side since this tragedy occurred. Which in turn means she's not currently working and obvisouly neither is Shawn due to his injuries. Bills have begun to pile up. Thank you for helping our family raise the funds to help pay for Vinnys funeral arrangements. But, now we are in need with help to pay for Shawns medical bills. Between, surgery, ambulance rides, therapy, medication and other medical costs. Insurance does not cover it all. Our funds have dried up. Kath has always been the rock and the provider for her family. So, it's taking a lot from her to ask for help. So, please continue to share and/or donate. No amount is too small. We appreciate all the love and support from everyone.  Thank you!! Let's help fight this battle for him.

I'm starting this gofundme account for my cousins Shawn and Vinny! Today we tragically lost Vinny in a car accident in which Shawn sustained multiple injuries. He just got out of surgery, which is unfortunately the first of many. We are starting this account to help pay for funeral costs, medical bills and to also help with Shawn's newborn son Xavier!!
