Help Shawn and his young family through his battle! ♥️

Hello my name is Susan Brown and I am Shawn’s Aunty. Shawn’s is my sisters son.

Only as recent as Monday 14 April 2025 we as a family found out Shawn has bowel cancer. We are yet to find out the type or grade however just that word has thrown our whole family into utter disbelief.

Shawn is 39 years old, he has a beautiful partner of 8 years, Jade and they share a gorgeous 2 year old boy Tyzak. Shawn is also Dad to an amazing 16 year old daughter Aleisha. Jade, Aleisha and Tyzak are Shawn’s whole world. He is an uncle to 5 nephews who are his sister Lisa’s boys.

Shawn is a typical Aussie larrikin who has the biggest heart of anyone I have ever met. I may be biased but that is the honest truth. Loves his family, his animals, which aren’t your usual type. It’s lizards, turtles, koi, lorikeets, and he even had a pig! Aleisha and Tyzak both have the same love of unusual pets. Shawn is a tradie, a bricklayer. A job which he loves and has been doing since he was 15 years old. He’s literally not done anything else, and he’s great at it. It’s his passion. He has worked hard to get where he is and has a great reputation in the industry but this diagnosis means he won’t be able to work for a while. Shawn is extremely proud, he provides well for his family. He has worked hard so Jade can be at home with Tyzak and we as a family can help but we also have our own expenses and money doesn’t stretch very far in these times. Our family want Shawn to not have to stress over money or bills for him to concentrate his fight on the battle ahead with his health so we ask that if you can donate a little it would help immensely.
