Help Shaunté Canty's Family After Tragic Loss

Hello, my name is Carletta Chase, and I never imagined I would be writing something like this. On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, my life changed forever. My beautiful daughter, Shaunté Denise Canty, was tragically taken from us in a car accident. In that same accident, her young son sustained significant injuries and is still under medical care.

Unfortunately, Shaunté did not have life insurance, and I now face the overwhelming responsibility of covering funeral expenses, medical bills, and stepping into the role of full-time caregiver for her two young children.

Shaunté was a loving and devoted mother who poured her heart into raising her children, always going above and beyond—especially for her son with autism, ensuring he had the care and support he needed to thrive in his own way. Her sudden loss leaves a deep void not only in my heart but also in the lives of her son and daughter, who must now learn to live without their mother's love and nurturing presence.
