Help Shaun stay off the streets

Hi, I'm Shaun. Many of you know me as Cursed Silicon. I'm a small player in the retro computing community, furry community and other places. As some folks already know I've been out of work for some months due to the effectively "frozen wasteland" of the IT job market in the US right now.

As part of that I was trying to land a new roommate to help ease the load with rent/bills/etc. That roommate ended up staying for 2 weeks before informing me a few days ago that he would be unable to pay for the rent from September. And that he'd be moving out Monday the 15th and not paying for October as a result.

Combine that with a one-two punch of being denied Social Security Disability (I need to await the rejection letter which can take "10-15 days" before I can seek an attorney to appeal the decision) and I am currently in an enormous financial black hole at the moment. Specifically I'm currently staring down being short on rent for two straight months, which would likely mean I'm going to get evicted.

A few overwhelmingly kind souls also support me on Patreon, specifically to fund my retro computing projects. I've tried to make their donations count as much as possible. But unfortunately I need a much larger amount to cover the shortfall of rent at this time.

Long-term I want to just quietly make videos on computer history and other projects, but at the moment I'm just trying to keep a roof over my head.
