**Help Shaun Smith Get the Kidney Transplant He Desperately Needs**

Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,

We’re reaching out on behalf of someone truly special—Shaun Smith. At 43 years old, Shaun is a devoted husband to Liz, proud father to Grant and Ridge, and one of the most loyal friends you could ever ask for. For as long as we've all known him, Shaun has been a steady presence in the lives of so many—always showing up, always supporting others, and always wearing his Georgia Bulldogs gear with pride. Now, it’s our turn to show up for him.

Shaun has been courageously battling a rare autoimmune disease called membranous nephropathy. This condition has caused his immune system to attack his own kidneys, leading to years of grueling treatments, multiple hospital stays, and an ongoing fight for his health. Despite dealing with the worst of this illness for nearly five years, Shaun has rarely complained. He’s the kind of man who carries the weight quietly and keeps a smile on his face for everyone else.

But the toll has been heavy. Between hospital bills, lost income, childcare costs, and mounting medical expenses, the financial burden has become overwhelming for Shaun and his family. Through it all, Liz—his rock and tireless advocate—has poured herself into researching treatment options, managing appointments, and holding their family together, all while ensuring their boys have the love and stability they need.

Now, with a kidney transplant on the horizon, Shaun has a real shot at getting back to the life he loves—being a present father, a devoted husband, and a friend to so many who care deeply for him.

This fundraiser is about more than just covering medical costs. It’s about giving Shaun the chance to heal without the added stress of mounting bills, and giving Liz and the boys the support they so deeply deserve. Every donation, no matter the size, brings this incredible family one step closer to that goal.

If you can’t give, sharing this campaign means just as much. Thank you for taking the time to read Shaun’s story. Your kindness, generosity, and prayers are making a difference.

With gratitude,
Robert, Daniel, Paul C. and Paul S.
