Our dear friend and community member, Shaun Cann, is facing an unimaginable hardship. Just recently, a tragic house fire broke out in the home next door to his, spreading devastation and leaving Shaun with the heartbreaking loss of all his belongings. Everything he worked hard for – his home comforts, his possessions, and his sense of security – has been destroyed.

To make matters even more difficult, Shaun is preparing for what should be one of the happiest moments of his life: his wedding, just one month away. Instead of being able to focus on celebrating love and a new chapter with his partner, he is now faced with the overwhelming task of finding new accommodation and starting completely from scratch.

Shaun has always been someone who brings kindness, and a helping hand around the village, clearing paths and the churchyard out of the goodness of his heart. Now, it’s our turn to come together and show him that he’s not alone in this.
