Help Shaun Overcome Stage 3 Colon Cancer—Join the Fight

✨ Update: Great news—insurance is finally approved, which is such a relief, but this journey is far from over. Every day is painful, and the road ahead will be long. Even with insurance, the copays, supplies, and everyday bills are piling up. His post-surgical recovery is going to be a long one…with weekly home health visits for wound care (when we can get them to show up), and family doing it when home health can’t. Your support—whether through donations, sharing, or kind words—truly keeps him going. Please consider helping if you can, and spread the word to others who might want to stand with Shaun in this fight. Every bit makes a real difference.

——————-

Hi, I’m Stefan—Shaun’s brother-in-law. Two weeks ago, Shaun was rushed into the hospital and diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. Since then, he’s undergone multiple procedures—including placement of a colostomy bag and a port for upcoming chemotherapy—and battled persistent infections. Soon he’ll transition to home care for wound management, port upkeep, infection control, and the upcoming chemo treatments. Through it all, Shaun’s only focus is on healing—while the bills and everyday costs keep mounting.

Why We’re Raising Money
- Medical Expenses
- Extended hospital stays, specialist consults, and home nursing visits
- Wound-care supplies, port maintenance kits, and infection-control medications
- Colostomy bag supplies and prescription co-pays for scans, lab work, and chemo infusions
- Basic Living Costs
- Rent, utilities, and groceries during his treatment and recovery
- Transportation for family visits and future appointments
- Everyday bills that won’t pause—even when he can’t work

How Your Support Makes a Difference
- A $10 donation provides a round-trip hospital shuttle pass for one appointment.
- A $100 donation provides a week’s worth of wound-care and colostomy supplies.
- A $200 donation ensures home nursing visits for infection management.
- A $500 donation contributes toward the cost of chemotherapy.
- Any $$ amount counts! Donations help his cause, and takes a bit of weight off his shoulders.

Thank you for standing with us through this overwhelming chapter. Your compassion today fuels Shaun’s fight tomorrow—and reminds him he’s never alone.
