My name is Emily.

I'm creating this fund-raiser in hope to help my brother Shaun at this devastating time.

Shaun is 43 years old, he was diagnosed in June 2021 with Throat Cancer which had rapidly progressed and was given up to a year to live.

With 4 of his own chldren, 2 still in high school he will unfortunately leave behind in care of our Mum & Dad.

As much as Shaun wanted to fight the cancer, none of the treatment is helping. Shaun being a single dad pensioner who lives 40 minutes from Toowoomba City needs help to cover the costs and to be prepared for what's to come which is why we need help, any donations that can make this any easier for him and our family.

After diagnosis, Shaun had to have a tracheotomy performed on his throat and a peg feed tube inserted into his stomach. The costs of his medical expenses are rising which he can no longer afford to pay.

Recently, Shaun endured a malicious attack on his rental home that has left him in more debt. A large amount needs to be paid for the damages otherwise he will not have a place to live out his final days. In this attack, all the windows smashed to his home plus his only transport his car also the windows smashed. It's absolutely disgusting and horrible to see a dying man have to live this way from some one else's actions.

Our family have tried everything we could and money is getting low as we plan to send Shaun to the after life as peacefully and stress free as possible. We need your help to make this happen. Any donation will be truly appreciated.

We pray for strength, love, support and guidance to help us through the struggles of coming to terms with losing our much loved Brother, Dad, Uncle & Son.

It's a difficult time for anyone who has gone through this, whether it be a loved one, friend or acquitanance. What a strain it has been mentally, emotionally, physically on Shaun & his family and his loved ones and this is where we reach out for support.

The donations will go towards repairs on his home, medical expenses, funeral expenses, and accommodating his children after he has entered enternal life.
