Shaun has been my mother’s neighbor for three years, and in that time, he’s become a true friend to her and a caring presence in their apartment complex. He’s always looking out for my mom, helping her with daily tasks like taking out the trash and making sure she’s safe getting in and out of her apartment. As a single father, Shaun manages to balance his responsibilities at home while still finding time to help others, showing compassion and generosity every day.

Last summer, Shaun was involved in a serious automobile accident that left him with injuries to his leg and foot, making it impossible for him to work for a while. After months of recovery and physical therapy, he was finally able to get back on his feet and start a new job. But just this morning, tragedy struck again—Shaun was in another accident that flipped his vehicle four times and completely totaled his only means of transportation. By the grace of God, he walked away with just scratches, but now he has no way to get to work and provide for his family.

I’m hoping to raise funds to help Shaun purchase another vehicle and assist with his rent for a month or two while he gets back on his feet. Shaun has always been there for my mom and others in the community, and now it’s our turn to be there for him.
