Dear Friends and Family,
Many of you are aware that Shaun and Jess have been trying to grow their family for the last two years without success, and so began their journey with In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).
Their first round of IVF only produced three eggs - none of which were viable after fertilization. This was devastating news, but they’ve chosen to move forward with their new found faith, guidance and lots of hope in their hearts. Their plan is to begin a second round, but the process (medications, appointments, surgeries, etc) is not only physically and emotionally taxing, but is very, very costly (~$30,000 per round).
To help relieve some of the financial stress, their Aunt Bee, cousin Emily, and I have set up this page to share their story to close friends and family members who are dear to us.
We’re very optimistic that this second round will work because the doctors have said to think of the first round as a diagnostic. They will be changing the protocol this time based on the results of the first round ….which leads to a higher chance of success!
Anything you can give, including positive thoughts or prayers, would mean so much to us, and to them. No amount is too small - it all adds up and gets us closer to our goal! Once this all comes to fruition, and in honor of your donation, a special keepsake quilt will be made for the baby with your name embroidered on individual squares!
