Hey everyone, so I thought I’d start a little fundraiser for my little brother. He has been working really hard on building a construction business. He has crafted some pretty amazing pieces that are being used in high-end restaurants in and around the Santa Monica and Venice area. He is truly building something beautiful. To help himself, he bought a new truck. Well, as luck would have it, within 2 weeks, the tailgate of his brand new truck was stolen. What was worse was he couldn’t report it to his insurance as the truck was brand new and he had to wait 60 days to report a claim. So he paid out of pocket. Fast forward to yesterday, May 04, 2026, he woke up in the early morning to take his girlfriend, Laura, to work. As he was leaving his neighborhood, he noticed his golf clubs leaning in some hedges. He then saw a few tools on the sidewalk near his brand new truck. Turns out some low-lifes took it upon themselves to pry open his now fully enclosed truck bed and steal all of his tools from it. To say he is devastated is an understatement. He has worked so hard to better himself and he keeps getting pushed down. I went out and was able to pull some surveillance video footage and swab for some DNA. Hopefully, the Santa Monica Police Department will assist and do something with it. But in the meantime, he has jobs to do and no tools to do them. If you’re able, I am asking, please. Shaun is someone who, if you needed it, would be there to help you.
