Hello supporters, I am shatha , 18 years old, from Gaza. As you know, our situation in Gaza is heartbreaking and soul-wrenching. I am writing to you my story with a broken heart and eyes filled with tears. On October 7th, in the first hours, we were displaced from our home because our home was in an area close to the border. We were displaced to a safe area, even though we knew that all areas were dangerous on October 7th. We were displaced and did not take anything from our home except simple things, like each person took their clothes, and only because we did not have a passenger with us, or rather because we did not know that this danger would last for several days. We were displaced and suffered in schools. It was a very difficult displacement. Then, after two months, we left the schools as well because the occupation invaded our area. We left for Rafah on foot under the scorching sun. Then we arrived and did not know where we would settle or how? Then we slept one day in the street without sanctity, without food, without... many things.. After a day we set up a tent in the street and stayed in Rafah with very light food, suffering in the streets and tents, carrying water from street to street and standing in line for several hours to get food and we might or might not take it Then after months in Rafah, the news came to me and my family that our house was bombed, here we felt a pang in our hearts, tears flowed from our eyes because it was the only thing we owned, it was a new house that we did not settle in for more than a few months And this is the rest of the situation in Rafah.. Then we returned to the schools we were in before we were displaced to Rafah... and we returned to the same torture.
After months also, the area was attacked and we were displaced to the Mawasi of Khan Younis and now we remain in the Mawasi of Khan Younis in the suffering of the tents, in the suffering to reach food and water under the sun , please consider us your family and help us with any amount, every dollar makes a difference, no Don't forget us, we need you
I am Samantha Zino, I’m 19 from the United States. I heard the story of Shatha, who is the cousin of Rawan Albreem via social media. We bonded over being girls, and she enlightened me about the harrowing experiences in the middle east. Funds will be sent to Khan Younis, after being converted to Shekels, will go towards their housing, education and medical care. Thank you so much for reading and donating!
