Help Shasta Bury Her Daughter

Shasta Jones is a Chicago activist who has given so much to the Chicago community, and right now she needs us to give some back. Her daughter Avanasia Thornton died this past week of Lupus at age 19. Please consider donating what you can and/or sharing this cause to help raise funds for the burial.

We reached our original goal of $4,000, but the cost of cremation and all expenses together of making arrangements cost more than originally anticipated. Thank you for your continued support during this trying time.
