Asking for support for Shasta and family.

On Tuesday evening, I came to the ER and was rushed in for emergency surgery with my family being told I probably wouldn’t make it. I’ve been dealing with medical issues the last two years, and instead of getting surgery a year ago like I should’ve, my ulcers decided to rupture inside my stomach, causing a large hole in my intestines. The surgeon described it as the worst possible scenario as they went in to band-aid the rupture.

Now, we’re here in the hospital with drainage bulbs and a feeding tube, waiting to heal enough to go in for the main surgery, which could be up to three months out. I’m now looking at a long, long road to recovery. Clearly, I am unable to work for now, and I am panicking trying to navigate and figure out how I’m going to pay my rent and bills plus take care of my two little ones without any income. I’m reaching out asking for any help possible just to secure my rent for the next couple of months and my basic utility bills. Of course, this is the worst possible time of year to have any financial setbacks, especially with kiddos.

As most people know, I’m not great at asking for help, especially for myself, but any help would be so greatly appreciated.
