Sharon is set to get married in June 2023, and just two months before her wedding day, she received a diagnosis of rectal cancer at the age of 39. Over the last few years, Sharon and her fiancé Derron have postponed their wedding date due to Covid restrictions. Also, during this time, Sharon has been dealing with a lot of pain and doing everything she could to figure out the source of her pain and alleviate it. This included numerous medical appointments and ER visits without any answers. Receiving this diagnosis has been shocking and heartbreaking for her and her family.
Sharon is a beautiful soul that is kind-hearted and compassionate As her sisters, all we want is for Sharon to overcome this big challenge in her life and regain her health as soon as possible. In her 20s, Sharon was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and mental health issues. Through hard work, Sharon has made great strides in those areas of her life. She can overcome this one too!
After Sharon’s diagnosis, we have been looking at the best treatment options for her so that she can make a full recovery and get back to living life. After a lot of research, we have a promising and innovative treatment plan lined up for her. The sad news is that it isn’t covered by the province’s health insurance plan nor does she have insurance. All we want is for Sharon to start this treatment as soon as possible. Funds raised would directly go towards her treatment plan offered through the Medicor Cancer Care clinic. Since it’s not covered by OHIP, it’s expensive and any contribution would be very helpful and alleviate the financial burden on Sharon. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your help and support. God Bless.
