Our mom, Sharon, has been diagnosed with advanced metastatic ovarian cancer. She is beginning a difficult treatment journey that will include chemotherapy, paracentesis procedures, and surgery. As you can imagine, this has been an overwhelming and heartbreaking time for our entire family.

Sharon is the person we turn to when we need comfort, encouragement, or simply someone who makes everything feel okay. She has always been there for everyone else, and now she needs us to be there for her.

Because of her illness and the intensity of her treatment, Sharon is unable to work. While she does have medical insurance, it only covers a portion of her treatment and medical expenses. The costs of cancer care can quickly become overwhelming, especially while she is unable to earn an income.

We are hoping to raise at least $50,000 to help ease some of the financial burden and allow Sharon to focus on what matters most right now: fighting this cancer and getting through treatment.

Funds raised will help with medical expenses and treatment costs not covered by insurance, as well as the additional expenses that come with navigating cancer treatment.

Most importantly, we want Sharon to know that she is not facing this fight alone. She has spent her life taking care of the people she loves, and now it is our turn to take care of her.
