Sharon Ring works out of the Franklin, TN, office and has been a ProAssurance employee for 21 years. She lives in Waverly, TN, and has five family members who lost their homes, autos, and personal items. On Saturday, August 21, 2021, several counties in Middle Tennessee experienced catastrophic flooding and flash flooding from the line of rain and storms that moved through the State.  This flooding event set a record for most rain in 24 hour period: 17 inches. For perspective, the previous record was 13.6 inches. 

As is the case with many victims of a flood, Sharon's family did not live in a flood plain and consequently carried no flood insurance.  Funds raised through this GoFundMe will help her family members begin to rebuild their lives in Waverly, TN.
