Sharon and Ken have spent most of their lives in the Great Falls area, always giving to others and supporting their family and friends. Last night, their lives changed in an instant when a house fire caused devastating damage to their home. Both are retired, and everything they owned was inside the house. They have always been there for myself, my siblings, and our children whenever we needed help, and now they are the ones in need.
After walking through the house, it became clear that nothing could be saved. The smoke damage destroyed all of their clothing, beds, bedding, towels, and most personal care items. Sharon and Ken escaped with only the clothes on their backs, and now they face the overwhelming task of replacing almost everything they owned. The loss of the little things—like clean clothes and a safe place to sleep—has been especially hard.
My mom and Ken are very proud people and would never ask for help themselves, so my brother, sister, and I are reaching out to our community, friends, and family. Please consider donating whatever you can to help Sharon and Ken start piecing their lives back together. We know times are tough for many, so if you can't donate, we ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Your support, in any form, means the world to us.
