Help Sharon in ICU: A Family's Need

Support for Sharon’s Fight & My Brother’s Journey

Hi, my name is Ryan McKeehan, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my brother and his wife, Sharon.

Sharon is bravely fighting cancer for the second time. On April 21st, she underwent surgery to remove more cancer from her lungs. Since then, she has been in the ICU, facing serious complications. Her lungs have struggled to function on their own, requiring her to be re-intubated. Doctors are now considering the possibility of another intubation or even a tracheotomy. What we hoped would be a step toward recovery has turned into a much longer, uncertain journey.

My brother is one of the most selfless people I know. He’s a dedicated special education teacher in Corona, living on a single income. He has never asked for help and has always found a way to make things work, no matter how hard things got. But right now, the emotional and financial toll is becoming more than he can carry alone.

We’re starting this GoFundMe to help relieve some of the pressure he’s facing—from mounting medical costs to lost work hours and the weight of watching his wife endure so much.
