Help Sharon Fight Lung Cancer

Hello, My name is Amber. Sharon is my mother-in-law. More like a Biological mother.

I am organizing this Fundraiser on her behalf while she focuses on herself and getting better.

After several months of dropping weight, being unable to eat much, stress, testing and biopsies, In September of 2022, Sharon finally got an answer to all of her struggles. She was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.

It came as a complete shock, as she has worked most of my life, and I didn't expect anything to slow her down.

She has been working full-time for as long as she can remember. She has been raising one of her teenage granddaughters without parental support since she was a baby.

On Wednesday, September 14th, she had the port put into her chest to start chemotherapy.

Insurance does not cover much of anything nowadays. And the medication alone is hard enough to keep up with, let alone afford it.

She has never asked for help from anyone. She is the " Glue" to the family. I know she will fight this as hard as possible, but she genuinely needs help.

While On medication/ chemo, she will work until she gets sick and can no longer function. But when that happens, she will be left with nothing. She will be unable to earn money to pay for the treatments, bills, etc.

Sharon has children and many grandchildren. It is essential to me that she fights this for my family and that she wins. It may not be curable, but it can be put into remission to allow her to live longer.

Helping with any amount would significantly improve her chances of fighting this. Having a way to make sure she can afford the treatments and bills will allow her longer to focus on beating this.
