Many kennels had to close during the pandemic. People weren't going on vacation and weren't boarding their pets. Sharon was able to keep Bundocks Kennels in Sebastopol California going and was able to continue her work with rescue dogs, but it took every bit of her savings.
The private road up to Sharon's property couldn't wait any longer to be repaved and repaired. If you drove up that road last year, you know! Sharon is very grateful to many kind souls who have contributed almost $2000 to the road costs over the last months! The balance of the bill for the road needed to be put on credit cards totaling a little more than $29,400.
Sharon has donated her life to the dog community! Her kennel has been in operation for over 50 years. She works with several dog rescue groups including bull terrier and cattle dog rescue. They restore the physical and mental health of the dogs, often putting in many hours of training before finding the right home for each dog.
If you are able to help Sharon with a contribution, the funds will immediately go to pay down the road costs, before more interest accrues on the credit cards. Thank you!
