Making a Go Fund Me for myself and writing this is so surreal.

I'm in the process of applying for financial aid from hospital. In the meantime, as I mentioned, I have no income coming in and cancer is expensive. So, I created a GoFundMe page. I started with $1000 (suggested by site), but will keep updating as I know more about the accruing debt .

Months of tests and waiting and more tests and more waiting. So much information in such a short period of time. In the end it was confirmed: I have breast cancer. As a few of you know, I had a serious back injury June 3 which I have not recovered from. Was supposed to have my mammogram in NY later in June, but, literally, couldn't stand for it. I moved in with mum to Oak Park and scheduled mammogram for September. Then it was a whirlwind and an amazing number of trips to the hospital. Man, I miss being the medical boring self I was before June 3. So now with an injured back and no income coming in I am facing surgeries, treatments and recovery for the unforeseeable future. I'm scared. It's scary. I have wanted to talk to everyone, all the time, as everyone is at a distance, but I've been so burned out, physically and mentally. I will try my best to update in my journal when I can. I will let you know if I need help (very hard for me to do).
