Help Sharon Attend 3rd Grade

Hello all,

As some of you may know, I have been paying for school supplies and tuition for a young girl, Sharon (on the left), for the last two years. She is now a rising 3rd grader at Green Valley School in Arusha, Tanzania, and I am hoping to help her afford this private education once again this coming school year.

I met Sharon in 2021 while traveling in Tanzania. At the time, she was in kindergarten at Rafiki Day Care Center and Orphanage, which is run by the stellar Joseph and Josephine Natai. Sharon was attending Rafiki for free, as well as receiving meals, clothes, and toiletries at the center, as her father passed away when she was a baby and her mother was not financially able to provide for Sharon without help. As her mother is not able to afford Sharon's primary education alone, I have taken over providing for her school fees and paying for any necessary items like uniforms, school supplies, transportation, and school meals.

Sharon has excelled in school so far, and consistently performs above average on reading, math, Swahili, and English exams. She is a confident, funny, and outgoing girl who loves to sing and dance, as she will gleefully tell anyone who asks!
