Help my Indigenous friend

May-2023-UPDATE-Healing has started and I thank you for your support! Mom lost her job in April which has set her back. Their bills/rents/car payment was approximately $6000 a month. I set up this gofundme campaign to help my friend who’s daughter was recently the victim of an unconscionable vicious sexual assault. She was drugged, beaten and gang raped. Due to her injuries and subsequent trauma she is unable to work for months.

I am hoping you can help this Indigenous mother who is struggling to keep them both afloat financially so that she can get the treatments her young daughter needs to heal. She requires her broken teeth repaired and other treatments for her daughter. Her daughter quit her new job due to the attack-medical EI was denied. She didn’t ask for help until savings were gone.
