Help Shark Beat Feline Parvo
Donation protected
Hi guys, Shark is my soul cat and the light of my life. I nursed him as a baby after his mom died. I’ve been trying to figure out what’s been wrong with him for the longest time, and I finally found it…
Shark has Feline panleukopenia (cat parvo). I am 36 weeks and 4 days pregnant, so I don’t have the money to admit him to the hospital for a few days. The vet said this would be $1500. I am instead sitting with him 24/7 and administering food and water with syringes. I have other cats, so me disinfecting surfaces is taking a toll on my body, but they’ve already been exposed. One is a kitten, named peach, and I’m hoping she does okay so I can vaccinate her in time.
I can’t help but blame myself. I take care of multiple stray colonies and come inside to my personal cats, so I spread it to them. I am devastated that this has happened. My cats mean everything to me and I wanted them to be able to grow up with my son who will be born in the next couple of weeks. Shark listens to my son’s heartbeat in my belly and he knows him and loves him.
Anything helps. I’ve spent all of my money on new tests for this diagnosis and it’s taking a lot to take care of shark.
