Help Sharina Cody Attend Stella Adler

Hi, I’m Sharina Cody, a rising senior Musical Theatre major at Howard University. Since I was little, the stage has felt like home—a place where I could express myself fully, tell important stories, and connect with others in a way that words alone couldn’t.

This summer, I’ve been blessed with the incredible opportunity to attend the Stella Adler Studio of Acting through NYU’s Summer Conservatory Program. It’s one of the most respected training programs in the country, and being accepted feels like a dream starting to come true.

That said, I could really use your help! The cost of tuition and housing in New York City is more than I can afford on my own. I’m working hard to make this dream a reality, but I can’t do it without extra support. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings me one step closer to walking through those doors and onto the next stage of my journey.

As a young Black woman pursuing a career in the arts, this opportunity means everything to me. I believe in the power of theatre to heal, to inspire, and to create change—and I want to be part of that. Thank you for believing in me and helping me take this next big step toward my dreams.
