Hello everyone,

I can hardly believe I’m writing this. My best friend, and one of the kindest humans you could ever meet, Sharidan (Shari) Smith, has been diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. For those unfamiliar, I’ll share a link below with more information, but simply put—she’s facing an incredibly tough fight.

If you know Shari, you know how amazing, caring, and giving she is. She has dedicated her life to helping animals as a veterinary technician, giving the best care to our furry friends who can’t speak for themselves. Now, it’s our turn to help care for her.

While Shari does have health insurance, there are many things it won’t cover—like wigs to replace her beautiful long hair, comfort items to get her through treatments, and other essentials that will support her through this journey.
