I've been friends with Shari for over 20 years, and she's always been someone I could count on. Yesterday morning, her life changed in an instant when her house burned down completely. She didn't have homeowners insurance, and now she's left with nothing—no home, no belongings, and nowhere to go. Shari is disabled and lives on a fixed income, which makes this situation even more overwhelming. She also has serious medical issues and is under the care of doctors, so having adequate shelter is critical for her health and safety. Her daughter and two young grandchildren, three dogs and two cats also lived in the home with her. Thankfully everyone escaped the fire without injury. But are in need of somewhere to live and help clearing the charred remains on the property.
Right now, Shari needs help with temporary housing, cleaning up after the fire, and starting the long process of rebuilding her life. She'll need to rent a dumpster for cleanup and haul away the remains of her home. Without insurance, every expense is a huge burden. Your support can help her find a safe place to stay, manage the cleanup, and begin to recover from this devastating loss.
If you can help in any way, it would mean the world to both of us. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference for Shari as she faces this incredibly difficult time. Thank you for caring and for helping her get back on her feet.
