Hi, I'm Shari and have stage 4 endometriosis. My insurance doesn't cover the surgery I need. This would be my second one, as my first one was botched by a non-specialist doctor who was covered by insurance at the time. Because the endometriosis specialists I am seeing are out of network and planning on doing a robotic laparoscopic endometriosis excision surgery, the cost is $10,000, which I cannot afford, as I am paying off the credit card I used to buy a wheelchair for recovery and high-pain days, and food when I needed it. I need this surgery asap. The endometriosis is spreading and causing debilitating symptoms that prevent me from working as consistently as I'd like to.
