Help Sharehan and her daughters leave Gaza

My name is Sharihan Elmasri, and I am a survivor of the relentless conflict here in Gaza. Once an engineer and project co-ordinator for the University of Gaza, I worked incredibly hard to build a better future for my family. I now find myself in the grips of despair as this horrific war continues to tear our lives apart.
Faced with unimaginable challenges I must now find somewhere safe for myself and my two daughters, aged 4 and 10 to live. Escaping the violence and turmoil of Gaza has become a matter of life and death. Currently I am without any support or means of escape.
There is an organisation called Hala based in Egypt who are charging $5,000 to evacuate people- this is why our target is so ambitious to cover the funds for the three of us to leave safely with them. ($5,00 x 1 adult, $2,500 x 2 children = $10,000 / £8,000).
If we are able to raise the funds to relocate we have then included £2,000 to cover renting an apartment in Egypt, cover necessary expenses to live on, finding and paying for an education for my daughters and navigating the legal system to seek asylum.
I am reaching out to you, the global community, in a desperate plea for help. We need to leave Gaza to ensure the safety and well-being of our family. The funds raised will be crucial in securing our passage to a place where we can rebuild our lives away from the constant threat of conflict.
How Funds Will Be Used:
- Enable our emergency relocation and cover expenses to leave Gaza
- Pay for accommodation and basic necessities upon arrival at a safer location
- Pay for educational support for my daughters as I transition into a new environment and find them an education
- Pay for legal assistance in navigating the complexities of seeking asylum and rebuilding our lives elsewhere
