Salutations Friends,
I am a Citizen Scientist and Co-Founder of Hyphae Labs! I've been studying Chromatography for the past four (4) years, specifically in the realm of Plant and Mushroom secondary metabolites. I have dredged up German literature from the late 20th century, scoured through private libraries and studied lab notebooks of notorious scientists; all while working with groups world-wide to share the wealth of information I have accrued for public benefit.
I have been invited to the Invisible College in Hawaii for the new year and I would like to to support that invite with an educational course around the knowledge I have gained in the study of numerous different compounds from nootropics to poisons and venoms. My goal is to provide a basis for other citizen scientists and researchers to learn more about the ecosystems around them and become better stewards of the organisms that support them.
Your financial support goes to travel expenses and purchasing all the necessary materials to teach two classes of at least eight (8) individuals the basic principles of Chromatography, whats achievable in a home lab, and insights into what 21st century testing might look like. Any excess funding will be put used to support harm-reduction testing for marginalized Bay Area cultivators.
Thanks for your time and consideration!
