Help Sharda fight against CANCER

Hi, my name is Apoorva Bhargava and I am fund raising for my Aunt.

Meet Ms. Sharda Sai, a 59-year-old single mother who was widowed when her younger son was just 2 years old. She is currently battling Metastatic breast cancer, or stage IV breast cancer (occurs when cancer spreads from the breast to distant organs like the bones, lungs, liver, or brain. It is the most advanced stage of breast cancer and, while not curable, it can often be managed with treatments like hormone therapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy to control symptoms and improve quality of life). She has shown incredible courage and strength throughout this challenging journey.

Sharda was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer in 2022. Despite the grueling treatments and medical costs, she has remained hopeful and resilient.

Life was never easy for her, lost her parents in her teenage, she got married to a Police-man in Kolkata (India). They were a happy family with a 6 year old son Siddhartha and a 2 year old son Avinash when Sharda lost her husband in a road accident nearly 35 years ago.

She raised her 2 sons as a single mother with bare minimum pension of her husband. After years of hardship when her sons became capable enough, and Sharda felt sense of security in her family just then CANCER knocked her door in the year 2022.

The fight against cancer comes with substantial financial burdens. Sharda and her family is facing a very hard time in covering the cost of her treatment including chemotherapy, radiation, medications, and hospital stays, which are beyond what they can manage. I am trying to raise funds for her so that we can help her in this fight and she can continue her treatment in Kolkata, India.

We are reaching out to friends, family, and the community to support Sharda Sai during this critical time. Both her sons are trying very hard to meet the financial needs of the family and the treatment costs. Family and relatives too are helping but now we need more to support her in a better way.
