Hi, I’m Shaobeny Johnson a Christian Masters level mental health professional (Under the supervision of Judy White Jackson, LCP-A pending) devoted to helping teens, couples, and families heal, grow, and thrive. I’m building a private practice that blends evidence-based therapy (CBT, EFT, trauma-informed care), cultural humility, and faith-affirming support. I’ve been serving my community for years—as an educator, choreographer, and now a therapist—and I’m stepping into private practice to expand access, offer evening availability, and create specialized services for trauma recovery, relationship health, and identity-affirming care.

Why I’m fundraising

Launching a practice takes start-up capital for clinical trainings, licensure/insurance, technology, and outreach marketing so families can actually find me and book. The good news?
