Help Shannon Zamecnik (Murphy) kick cancer!

Shannon wasn't feeling well.  It started with a little bit of a sore throat, then a mild cough.  Then she noticed a swollen lymph node on her neck.  Then there were four.  Then six.  She went to the hospital where they diagnosed her with stage 4 neck/throat cancer.    The cancer had already consumed her tonsils, which were removed last Thursday.   She has a mass in her throat and a nodule on her chest.  She has a tough battle ahead of her. 

The treatment will be extremely painful, so much so, that simply drinking water will be a challenge.  So, Shannon will be put on a feeding tube as this will  help her put on weight and may improve her general health making her strong enough for the entire treatment.

Shannon has the support of her amazing husband, Mike, and her family, but they cannot do it alone.  The medical bills come faster than the test results do.   Food, medical bills, and nursing will be required for Shannon to fight the best fight.
