Hello Everyone, 

I know that everyone is struggling right now and I’m sorry to keep coming back asking for help from our community, I wish that I had any alternative, but I’m desperate and have no where else to turn.  

My monthly rent is $800 is due on Tuesday February 1st but if it’s a few days late my landlord will understand.  My cell phone and internet bills are the only other expenses I need-my Internet is up to $228 (which is several months past due) and my cell phone is $85.  

My severe depression continues to be the biggest obstacle to being able to do anything.  I’m  working with my psych nurse practitioner on adjusting my medications but it’s a lot of trial and error, which leaves me unable to work or support myself until we find the right combination.   

I’ve submitted an application for public assistance with my local department of social services and am waiting to hear back from them; my application for food stamps is still pending so I’ve been spending money I don’t have on groceries (the reason my PayPal and Venmo are both overdrawn).  Any local rental assistance programs are only available if I’m served an eviction notice or have several months of back rent. 

I’m hoping to be able to raise enough to cover living expenses for the next two months, hopefully long enough for me to get my feet under me and get past the stage of barely surviving day to day and have more long-term stability. 

I already cashed out what little I had in my 401K back in 2020 when I was fired, and my mom had no assets and never was able to get any kind of life insurance policy before she died last year.   All of my credit cards are maxed out over the limit and I haven’t been able to make any payments in 5 months, so the accounts are close to being closed and forwarded to collections.  My poor credit also prevents me from being able to open a new credit card or qualify for a personal loan.
