Help Shannon Save Jinx, the Miracle Cat

Hello! My name is Shannon worton and many people know me from cat rescue and EMS/fire. I’m a firm believer in action when something is in need and figuring it out later. especially when it comes to animals in need.

which brings me to today!

my friend Liz and her husband Jason found this poor cat crying dragging her legs and thought she’d been hit by a car. I was at work and told them to use my card at VUCC Plymouth where originally she seemed on death’s door. I gave the okay to run some tests and give fluids to make her more comfortable and dr.p called me back stunned saying that jinx was a miracle and perked up with fluids; she wanted to live.

we have no idea where jinx came from but she’s estimated to be in her teens, a super senior, and so far VUCC found an infected bite to a rear leg and that she was severely emaciated. but her blood work came back better then we thought so we’re giving her a shot!

due to her condition she’s been transferred overnight to cape cod veterinary specialists for portioned feeding, fluids, and further testing. Due to her already high bill of $1,000+ at VUCC I’m setting this up in case anyone would like to help offset the bill. I’m hoping I can help cover this to find a rescue or a home for her if she does alright in the next 24 hrs.
