Hi there! I'm Shannon, a Chicagoan trans woman. I also go by Xanna Machine online. I moved out to my current home after bouncing between bad situations. After years of homelessness, abuse, and unemployment; I found a wonderful job that became the bedrock of my life. Soon enough, I was able to escape all of it and start living freely. I never thought I would achieve anything close to stability. I'm proud of getting to where I am now, physically and mentally.

However, I'm starting to slip back into danger. Car trouble, predatory fees, and pure bad luck took the last of my savings. I'm starting to have to reach into the edges of my credit line. I want to make sure I can survive rent for this month and get back on my feet. I work three jobs and all of them require a car, which I unfortunately have to pay a massive loan on. With the money, I will be able to re-organize my payments and slowly save up for a cheaper vehicle.

I'm eternally grateful to any amount donated and any time spent spreading the word. I'm on my last legs right now, but I'm confident I can get back on my feet with a little help.
