Shannon recently underwent surgery to have some kidney stones removed. What should have been a routine procedure turned into her fighting for her life. Her colon was cut, leading to her going sepsis. Since that day, her life has changed. She has endured multiple life-saving surgeries and a long, painful recovery process. Shannon is now unable to work as she continues to regain her strength and health. As a devoted mother to her 12-year-old son, she is doing everything she can to stay strong for him, but the financial and emotional burden have become overwhelming.
