Support for Heart Surgery & Recovery to Start a Family

Hello family and friends,

I hope you are all doing well. I am reaching out to ask for your support as I prepare for a major heart surgery. On March 19th, 2025, I will be undergoing a septal myectomy, an open-heart procedure to treat my condition, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM).

After much prayer and thought, my husband, Soua, and I have decided to move forward with this surgery so we can safely start a family. During our last pregnancy, which we unfortunately lost, my heart was under too much strain, and doctors advised us that family planning would not be safe in my current condition. This surgery will give me a better chance at a healthy future for myself and my family.

While I am on FMLA leave, my paid time off will not cover my entire recovery period, leaving me without income for at least 3-4 weeks. Any donations would go directly toward helping us cover essential bills and expenses while I focus on healing.
