This is Carrie, Shannon Garcia's sister. Shannon recently had brain surgery to remove a benign tumor at University of Cincinnati hospital on January 14. The doctors were able to effectively remove all of the tumor, but it was larger than expected and Shannon has had some unexpected recovery complications.

Due to these complications, she's had to stay inpatient longer than expected and will now need inpatient rehab for at least 1 week.

Her husband, Roy has run out of PTO time from work and they are going to be battling some unplanned medical expenses.
