Help Shannon and Kendall With Their Tragic Loss

A little help for Kendall & Shannon.
Hi, our names are Stacey, Sarah, Eva, Eline, Lori and Jessica and we are fundraising for our dear friend Shannon and her amazing daughter Kendall whole lives changed dramatically yesterday when Kendall’s beloved father Paul died in a car accident in Huntington West Virginia.
Saying this year has been difficult for the Morrison family is an understatement. Kendall is a bright and beautiful 10-year-old who was born at 26 weeks weighing only 1lb 9oz (micro-preemie). She has struggled through a multitude of health issues since birth. Most recently, she was diagnosed with a life-long seizure disorder that has been proven very difficult to control. The disorder calls for frequent doctor’s visits, numerous medication trials with terrible side effects, and an overabundance of tests and studies to try to find a way to help Kendall live with this disorder in the most normal way possible.
With her dad no longer here, Kendall has not only lost the her one and only father but the reliable financial stability that has allowed our amazing friend Shannon to manage Kendall’s illness and the impact this has had on her own ability to work and finish her Pharmacy degree at Marshall University. The medical bills alone are overwhelming along with the added childcare costs, college and general expenses.
Kendall’s mother Shannon is one of the most amazing people we know. She is an Army veteran who volunteers her time at health clinics around the Huntington, WV area. Shannon has already experienced more than her share of heartbreak and we want to help her in any way we can during this tragic time. All money raised will go toward supporting Kendall in her grief, her medical condition and well-being.
