Help Shannon and Her Sons Through This Tragedy

Donation protected
On Monday, September 30, 2024, Shawn Seaver suffered from a fatal heart attack. This was a completely unexpected event, as he had no previous conditions or major health concerns. In his immediate family, he has left behind his sons, Branden and Robyn, and his wife Shannon. Shawn and Shannon currently homeschool their children, working diligently to both financially support their children while simultaneously providing them the best, most well-rounded education possible. The absence of Shawn will be a gigantic void in their lives in many ways, and my goal is to help ease some of the burden that the family will experience from such a sudden loss.

To me, Danyan Garcia, Shawn was not just a long-time business partner and co-worker, he was a dear friend. I feel privileged to have known someone so special. Shawn was a brilliant web designer and manager, as well as, a digital marketing specialist, with tons of experience and a wealth of knowledge in these fields, as well as in many others. He was always putting the other person’s (or client’s) needs and goals at the top of his list. He whole-heartedly cared about his work. He took pride in doing things thoroughly, creatively, progressively, and was always trying to exceed expectations, often going above and beyond and not ask for anything in return. Shawn was also in the middle of a couple professional projects that he expected to be a big success for his family financially, and for his career. It pains me to not be able to see this all come to fruition.

As an individual, he was always so friendly and positive—his smile and laugh were so genuine and jolly that you couldn’t help but join along! He was a kind, generous, intuitive, thoughtful, and selfless person. He was clever, creative, intelligent, inquisitive, funny, honest, hard-working, loyal, and had an unwavering positive outlook on life.

He was a dedicated and enthusiastic father, husband, and friend to many, always up for activities, adventures and new experiences, encouraging others to do the same. He was a huge advocate of learning (and teaching) and enjoyed sharing his knowledge and seeing people succeed and grow. He truly cared about others from the bottom of his heart.

It will be a long road for the family to recover as they pick up the pieces and figure out how to live without the love and support of their husband and father during these upcoming months, and for all the years to follow. My goal is to help support the education, health and overall well-being of Shawn and Shannon's two children, and to help Shannon to maintain and repair their house, vehicles, and property and raise her young children, now as a single-mother. My heart goes out to the Seaver family during these difficult times, and I hope yours will, too.
